Whether you’re new to roleplaying games and the Cypher System, or part of our MCG community, we want to welcome you to craft great stories, explore stirring vistas, and feel inspired to dream of other worlds. Here’s what you’ll find when you visit us at Gen Con:
1. Free demos and open seats for our games!
Looking for a last-minute game at Gen Con? Our sold-out events occasionally have no-shows, so come and see us and we’ll see if we can fit you in! Even if we can’t, you can still get a demo of any of our systems.
2. Gaming sessions galore!
Want to try our wide range of innovative and unique settings, away from the noisy crowds and the constant announcements for Gen Con attendees? Use the Gen Con sign-up system to book a spot for one of our many games. Our spacious room also has a store stocked with our games, so you can check out our range of products!
3. Limited-edition products!
As with every year, we’ll have small quantities of limited-edition items which you just can’t get anywhere else! So, if you missed a particular special version of a book or a gaming accessory (dice, gaming aids, and more) otherwise only available through our crowdfunding campaigns, come check us out!
4. Critical (gaming) hits!
Whether it’s Old Gods of Appalachia RPG, Numenera, No Thank You, Evil!, The Devil’s Dandy Dogs, or the much beloved Cypher System, we’ve got award-winning and critically-lauded games for you to check out and try! We’ve got you covered with both the full range of products, and the opportunity to try a demo to get you started.
Don’t know about the Cypher System? With it, you can play ANY character, in ANY genre, in ANY campaign! It’s our very simple, but elegant, set of rules that lets you tell, and experience character-led, cinematic stories. Imagine your next character is an ’80s kid who is secretly a superhero or a questing knight worried about the return of the gods? Want to explore the creepiest house you’ve ever investigated, escape a nano swarm on your flying your hover disc, or train your pet dinosaur behave long enough to help you get back to the future? Cypher System is for you, so come and try it out!
Have kids with you at the con? Terrific! Our award-winning game, No Thank You, Evil!, is perfect to get them into RPGs so you can play together as a family.
