Decades of great beers, fun games, and good times have been had with Sun King as the Official Beer Sponsor of Gen Con. To create a signature beer for the 20256 convention, Sun King turned to our thirsty gamers and social media fans to choose the official beer style to be tapped at the annual Gen Con Block Party.
Sun King is excited to release Rage Quit at the Gen Con Block Party! This year’s official beer of Gen Con will be available during
Sun King Beer Garden hours, at their family-friendly downtown Indy taproom, and at select bars and restaurants throughout the city.
Sun King will also have seltzers and non-alcoholic beers available at their tent on South Street. Sun King has also reached out to their friends at Ash & Elm and will also offer a few ciders as well!
Sun King Beer Garden Schedule
Block Party Opens: Wednesday, 4 pm – 8 pm
Daily Schedule: Thursday – Saturday, noon – 8 pm; Sunday – noon – 4 pm.

Attendees 21+ can purchase beer to-go from the Sun King Brewery Beer Garden on South Street. Note: To-go purchases may not be consumed in the Beer Garden.

HotBox Pizza
HotBox is back for another year as the Official Pizza of Gen Con! When hunger strikes, Gen Con veterans know to hit the HotBox Pizza tent on South Street to refuel! Pizza, stix, drinks, merch and this year’s official pie, Dragon’s Luau.
Dragon’s Luau is the brainchild of Wesley Melitz, the winner of our 2026 dream pie contest! This pizza brings the heat, the sweet, and a little island chaos with spicy red sauce, spicy pepperoni, bacon, pineapple, mozzarella, and a drizzle of Mike’s Hot Honey. Pineapple on a spicy pizza? Trust us, this dragon knows exactly what it’s doing!
Red Bull
Stop by the Red Bull tent for a can of Red Bull and your chance to earn a special badge ribbon!
Subway
Now officially at the Gen Con Block Party, swing by Subway Express at the Block Party for fresh, fast, and better-for-you meals. Sammies are perfect for powering through Gen Con! And don’t forget: The Subway inside the Hyatt is open at 7 am until 2 am.
