The annual Gen Con Art Show honors the creativity, craftsmanship, and imagination that bring our favorite worlds to life through stunning visuals.
From far-reaching fantasy realms to striking sci-fi dreamscapes and beyond—the Gen Con Art Show is a sanctuary for visual revelations, where every composition tells a story, and every artist invites you to experience something original, thought-provoking, and alluring.
This year, we’re thrilled to spotlight the exceptional work of Deb JJ Lee, Rob Rey, and Sarah Finnigan as our official 2026 Featured Artists. Each of these exceptional talents offers a wholly original, unique creative perspective, blending bold storytelling with captivating visuals that reflect the spirit of tabletop gaming and the vibrant community that surrounds it.

Deb JJ Lee
Deb JJ Lee is a Society of Illustrators Gold Medalist based in Brooklyn, New York. They are known for their bold, meticulous illustrations and were recently recognized in 2025 as one of Adweek’s Creative 100.
Earlier this year, they made special-edition covers for the Percy Jackson series “Heroes of Olympus”. A maximalist first and human second, Deb has a penchant for making sense of clutter, detail, and body language into lush, unique compositions, patterns, and bold color palettes to communicate the right emotion.

Deb JJ Lee is also the creator of the Eisner-nominated graphic novel, “In Limbo”, published by First Second in 2023. You can find more information about Deb and their portfolio at debleeart.com

Rob Rey
Rob Rey creates art of science and the cosmic perspective to help us feel awe and wonder at the universe, as well as a sense of belonging and connection with each other. His art focuses on how the natural world can be a source of meaning and spirituality while remaining grounded in science.

Since graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design with a BFA in Illustration, Rob has become an award-winning artist in several national fine art and illustration competitions.

Sarah Finnigan
Sarah Finnigan is a Texas-based artist who paints landscapes that carry the fingerprints people leave behind, to tell a story of what places mean to us. Her inspiration is built on a youth spent getting lost in adventure games and exploring in the woods. She infuses her work with fantastical elements to spark curiosity and the desire to explore.

Sarah’s work is achieved through a glazing technique to create luminous acrylic paintings. Her work can be found in games and books, most prominently on Magic: The Gathering cards.
