But once the dice are packed away and the last badge is tucked into the memory box, the inevitable question arises: what do we do between Gen Cons?
If your answer is “play more Dungeons & Dragons,” you’re in good company.
Enter Tabletop Vacations—immersive, all-inclusive destination events where the focus is on epic stories, unforgettable settings, and the Best Four Days of D&D.
D&D in a Castle: The Crown Jewel of D&D Vacations

Imagine this: you arrive at a fantastical Castle. Towering walls, winding staircases, banquet halls lit by candlelight—and in the heart of it all, a table where some of the best Dungeon Masters in the world are ready to guide you through a four-day Campaign.
This is D&D in a Castle, the flagship of Tabletop Vacations. It’s all about the game and so much more. It’s where immersion, adventure, and community combine to create the Vacation of a lifetime.
As one past guest put it, “The castle feels like another member of the party—it sets the stage for everything. I’ve never been so fully inside a story.”
For many, it’s the closest thing to D&D heaven—and it’s the kind of once-in-a-lifetime adventure you’ll talk about for years to come.
D&D Weekends: Short, Sweet, and Story-Filled

Not every adventurer can leave for a week-long quest, and that’s where D&D Weekends comes in. These are compact, three-day retreats set in cozy destinations. You arrive Thursday, dive into an epic Campaign, and return home Sunday with your imagination recharged.
“Weekends are like a shot of adrenaline for your gaming life,” says one repeat attendee. “You get all the intensity of a full Campaign but in a concentrated dose—it tides me over until the next big con.”
Think of it as a Gen Con game in a private escape for three days, with all meals included, packed with story, laughter, and the joy of discovering new worlds with new friends.
Dungeon Master University: the First of its Kind

This year marks the launch of something entirely new: Dungeon Master University – the first event specifically for Dungeon Masters of all levels to immerse themselves in learning and hone their craft.
Whether you’re just starting out or have years of experience behind the screen, DMU offers courses, seminars, and one-on-one sessions with veteran Dungeon Masters and game designers. From world-building and improvisation to self-publishing and turning pro, every aspect of the craft is explored in depth.
“There’s nothing else like this,” says one of the faculty DMs. “We’re not just teaching tips and tricks—we’re creating a space where DMs can experiment, collaborate, and grow. It’s about leveling up the whole community.”
Dungeon Master University is a place to connect with peers, sharpen your skills, and return to your table inspired and equipped with fresh ideas.
