For many, the Gen Con Block Party is a time-honored tradition that sets the tone for The Best Four Days in Gaming ™. Grab a beer or mocktail and make memories that will last well beyond the weekend.

Decades of great beers, fun games, and good times have been had with Sun King as the Official Beer Sponsor of Gen Con. To create a signature beer for the 2025 convention, Sun King turned to our thirsty gamers and social media fans to choose the official beer style to be tapped at the annual Gen Con Block Party.
By a landslide vote, the limited edition beer was chosen! Join us Wednesday evening at 5 pm on South Street for the release of Core Strategy, the Official Beer of Gen Con 2025. Core Strategy is an apple cyzer; similar to a braggot, this apple cider/beer combo will surely be a hit!

Attendees 21+ can purchase beer to-go from the Sun King Brewery Beer Garden on South Street. Note: To-go purchases may not be consumed in the Beer Garden.
Daniel’s Vineyard
Visit the Daniel’s Vineyard tent to swirl, sip, and savor the Official Wine Sponsor of Gen Con 2025’s exclusive blends. Swing by the Block Party to get your hands on Tideborn, the People’s Choice winner—a bold, dry red wine inspired by the world of gaming and fantasy.
This limited-release bottle is only available for pre-sale or during the Gen Con Block Party and officially goes on sale July 1. Also returning is fan-favorite Code Rosé, a refreshing summer sip that’s only available during the event—and it sells out every year!
You can purchase wines online to pick up at Daniel’s Booth at Block Party, or ship directly to your house after the convention.

Chili Con Carnage starts with a no-bean chili base and is topped with mozzarella, sliced hot dogs, and crushed potato chips! Hot dogs on pizza? Yep, it’s amazing!

The official Gen Con Burger masterpiece has a name! Introducing: The Burning Beast.

Gamers! Think you’ve got Tetris skills? Red Bull Tetris® is live! Qualify at the Block Party, and you could play in Dubai under the desert sky!
Subway
Now officially at the Gen Con Block Party, swing by Subway Express at the Block Party for fresh, fast, and better-for-you meals. Sammies are perfect for powering through Gen Con! And don’t forget: The Subway inside the Hyatt is open at 7 am until 2 am.
